Say goodbye to lost nuts and springs
Introducing the Reversible Register Cam, a new time saving feature from Kluge that will make switching between gear and operator side registration a breeze. Presently, press operators need to remove the entire cam and replace it with the opposing cam in order to switch sides for registration. The difficult-to-reach location makes changing from one cam to the other a time consuming task and springs and nuts are often dropped or lost under the press, further increasing down time. Our new reversible register cam allows the operator to switch registration in only 3 seconds!
So how does it work?
Left and right side register cams are now mounted together on a spring loaded wedge body that enables you to switch side guides quickly. By pulling out, turning 180 degrees and releasing, the reversible register cam effortlessly switches from gear to operator side registration and visa versa in no time. What’s more, the switch can be made without the need for tools, speeding the process even more. One local customer purchased the add-on to “test out” on one of his Kluge presses, within a couple of days he had purchased 3 more!
Why not try out the reversible register cam for your Kluge press today? Say goodbye to dropped hardware frustrations and cut down your make-ready time.
The reversible register cam is a standard feature on the EHF Series Press, and is available as an option for older EHF presses or the EHD Series Press.
