Paper Presentation of Livingston, NJ have installed Kluge’s latest product – the EHG Series 22 x 30 Press. The company upgraded their machine to include the toggle base hoist that takes the work heavy work out of removing the toggle base for make-readies, and the EZ Load magazine that lowers the whole magazine to simplify loading of stock. Vivid Impact have installed a Kluge UniFold automatic folder gluer. The decision to bring pocket folder converting in house was long overdue. To accommodate thicker stocks while maintaining high production speeds without wrinkling, the machine was shipped with Kluge’s patented vertical bucklefolder. Now that the machine is in house, the Louisville, KY-based finisher has plans to experiment with additional folder gluer production formats. USGPO of Washington DC have installed another Kluge press. This time an EHF Series 14 x 22 with the hologram registration unit. The government printing office also opted for the preload magazine feature that enables the operator to load stock while the press is running to maximize productivity while minimizing downtime.
