As a contributor to the print finishing industry, you have probably heard mention of the Kawahara TXR Series Automatic Blank Separator. This offline machine utilizes a unique pin board system to automatically separate, or blank, die cut sheets. On average, a 48″ skid of stock can be blanked in only 20 minutes, using this system!
So how does the pin board system work?
The pin board or work area uses a plastic template to configure the machine for your job. The plastic template “tells” the machine which pins are needed for blanking the product. During operation the upper pin board pushes the waste down on the edges of the die cut stock, leaving the end product behind. A 3.5″ lift of stock can be blanked during each machine cycle of between 45 seconds and one minute.
Now, let us SHOW you how it works
We have created a flash animated demonstration to clearly illustrate exactly how the Kawahara works.
The Kawahara TXR-1100 Series Automatic Blank Separator will be demonstrated live at PRINT ’05 & CONVERTING ’05 in Chicago, IL. At Kluge’s booth #212, the Kawahara will blank separate three jobs: 100-up credit cards, 12-up pharmaceutical boxes and 33-up football-shaped NFL 2005/2006 schedules – see your favorite team “GET BLANKED”. So why not stop by our booth to watch these live demonstrations during the show?
