  Aptly named, the Small Box Machine here demonstrates production of a small 2.5″ x .75″ x .75″ finished size box (with partition) application. The friction feeder enabled continuous feeding at speeds of up to 40,000 pph.

  Here the Kluge Small Box Machine is configured with a friction feeder, hot melt glue system, airgate, bump90 and tape head to convert a single pocket CD wallet product.

  Table tents are often used in bars and display shelves as a small and effective advertising method. In this demonstration the ComFold uses gluing and two plow folds to convert a Budweiser table tent. First a slow speed clip shows step-by-step the converting process. After this, the ComFold is run at a production speed of 20,000 pph.

  As well as a demonstration of converting an auto-lock bottom box running on the Kluge Small Box Machine, this video is a great example of our fold hook kit. The optional accessory enables many kinds of auto-lock, lock-bottom and tuck-bottom jobs to be run on the machine.

  In keeping with our reputation for highly versatile equipment, we have manufactured a fold hook kit for our automatic folder gluers. The optional feature enables users to convert auto-lock bottom boxes and comparable products inline, and at speeds of up to 5,000 + pieces per hour.

  Examples of applications that will utilize this feature include pharmaceutical, cosmetics and other specialty packaging products.
  

• Hotel key holders

  
   
  With a finished size of 2.5″ x 3.5″, this key card holder used for hotels is one of the smallest formats that we have ran on our Unifold folder gluer. The setup includes vacuum feeder, plow folding and gluing.
• Boxes and sleeves of various sizes

  
  In this video a small (2 3/4″ x 6″ finished size) oval box is folded and glued on our UniFold folder gluer. The video demonstrates the make-ready techniques and accessories required to set up and run the job at up to 15,000 pph. There is no audio on this video.
• Photograph frames and mounts

  
  The ComFold is one of Kluge’s automatic multi-function folder gluers. This machine is highly versatile in design and can be easily configured for numerous production formats. The ComFold has in the past, also been referred to as a straight-line folder gluer due to its high speed production for certain applications. An example of this is the playing card box that ran dual line at 76,000 pph. This video demonstrates the ComFold finishing a 3-Panel Photo Mailer which applies tape to the “fold over” strip for sealing after your photos have been inserted.

  Also known as the ‘Pick and Place Unit’, the optional Inserter for the OmniFold allows for placement of an item inline with folding and gluing. For example a CD could be placed onto a wallet, then the wallet folded and glued around the CD.

  Outline

  Also known as the ‘Pick and Place Unit’, the optional Inserter for Kluge folder gluers allow for placement of an item inline with folding and gluing. In this demonstration a friction-fed tipping unit is mounted to our ComFold folder gluer to onsert CD media onto a flat single pocket CD sleeve. The sleeve is then folded and glued around the CD using hot melt glue and our flip gate feature.
